Eight, year 7, Essex Satellite and County Development players, took part in the ENG U12’s Netball Cup Eastern Final at Cambridge Sports Centre on Saturday 11th January 2020. Having not played together as a team this was a real challenge for them, but would be good match play experience. In their pool they played four matches, where they won two, drew one and lost one, a respectable showing, they then went onto the knockout round where they came up against well drilled tough opposition and didn’t progress any further. But overall it was valuable experience for them and a good chance to play together with players from different clubs and a good team building exercise.

Thanks to the coaches and to all the players for their enthusiasm and professionalism and to the parents for their support as apparently, we had the highest number of spectators!
